Facilities : There is a large free-form swimming pool, sun terrace, pool bar, a choice of 4 restaurants including a beachside grill and a restaurant on the river bank, a lounge bar with satellite TV, reception and boutique.

Resort : Mobor Beach

Description: Mobor Beach is the last section of beach, separated from the next stretch by the River Sal as it meets the Arabian Sea. The beach is wide, the sand yellow, and there are beach shacks selling food. A couple of 4 star hotels are located here including the ‘Holiday Inn’, as well as 5 star ‘The Leela’ and it is a walkable distance (quicker by beach) from Mobor into Cavelossim.

This area attracts lots of dolphins and most of the trips taking holidaymakers to spot them set off from here. If you are into the local wildlife, do go up the River Sal to see the bats, their wing-span can reach up to a metre. This area is stunningly beautiful and should be high on your agenda of places to visit.

Made By Sue Chatteris on 28/09/2007 I travalled as a single women in Goa for two weeks. I booked into the hotel for a week and managed to get a discount when there. The rooms were very clean adn the staff extremely friendly. The beach is fantastic and you can walk for hours without almost seeing anyone. The hotel hire bikes very cheaply and you can bike on the beach. Water sports are available and are good value. William the watersports person sits outside teh Leela adn is extremely helpful. There are a few resturants with good food in just outside teh hotel. Hotel food is good and the pool is a good size. Seating and sunbed area is also excellent . Have a fab holiday
