Beach can be reached easily by the hotel’s free shuttle bus which runs hourly from 9am to 6pm.
The hotel has a restaurant overlooking one of the two swimming pools, the children’s pool and sunbathing area, and features live music at least
once a week. Pedal and rowing boats are available during high season for hire on the lake, and a small gym., acuzzi, steam room, beauty parlour, Ayurvedic massage, gift / provisions shop and a tennis court are available, payable locally. The second swimming pool also has its own sunbathing area with a superb view of the lake.
On a previous visit to the Marinha Dourada we met Don Bacon, an ornithologist, who told us that there were 140 species of birds within a mile of the hotel. If you’re a keen birdwatcher, this hotel will be ideal for you.
Bedrooms at the Marinha Dourada
The twin and double-bedded rooms are comfortable and have a small seating
area, air-conditioning (included), ceiling fans, T.V. with local channels, telephone, mini-bar, ensuite SH&WC, and a balcony or terrace. Rooms are offered on a Bed & Continental Breakfast basis; Christmas and New Year festive meals are included.
Safety deposit boxes are available in reception, payable locally.
Honeymooners receive flowers and wine on arrival. A quality hotel with extensive grounds that are laid to lawn and beautifully kept.
Highly recommended.

This has to be the best kept secret in Goa. What a little gem of a hotel. It deserves more than it's 2* rating.
Rooms are very clean and well maintained. Sheets and towels are changed every day. Towels are provided for you by the pool. Room staff are very friendly. If you want to leave them anything please leave a note as they are searched when they leave the hotel.
Breakfast: Very good, wide range of choice of a buffet style breakfast and you can order extra's.
Entertainment: This is an area that could do with improvement. The hotel does not advertise what is on that night until mid afternoon and most people have already made plans for the evening.
Beauty Parlour: All I can say is do not miss out. The girls that run it are excellent. Massage, Hair cut, Manicures and Pedicure. Book up as they are very popular and well worth the money. We had a French Manicure and paid just £3.00. I cannot praise the Salon enough.
Finally, do not miss out on this hotel. It is a well kept secret.

AN ABSOLUTE GEM OF A HOTEL, VERY CLEAN AND ROOMS VERY NEAT AND TIDY. GOOD FOOD AND STAFF VERY FRIENDLY. VERY CLOSE TO ALL AMENITIES AND GOOD BIRD WATCHING FOR THE BIRD WATCHERS. VIEWS FROM THE HOTEL ARE FANTASTIC AND THE GARDENS ARE CLEAN AND WELL DESIGNED. ENTERTAINMENT COULD BE IMPROVED TO A HIGHER LEVEL BUT OTHERWISE COULD BE MENTIONED AS A 4 STAR HOTEL.
