Review Title : Fantastic Place Your Rating 5 Stars. Made By Lisa Duncan on 29/10/2007
What a fantastic hotel.
It was our second visit to Goa and second stay at Whispering Palms.
A good, reasonable price hotel, great staff, lovely clean rooms and fantastic food.
Candolim itself is great and a brilliant place to stay for a first holiday to Goa as it is not as touristy as some places.
Local for all sightseeing and the hotel will arrange transport for a day out.
Brill holiday, can't wait to go again.

Have stayed at this hotel for the past two Xmas's, Loved it so much that we have booked up for Xmas 2008.
You would not believe the spread that they put on for Xmas, or the effort that they put into the celebrations.

Review Title : Going again Your Rating 4 Stars. Made By Graham Mountfield on 02/05/2009
We have stayed in te whispering palms twice now
Whilst the rooms are basic but comfortable. The food is good. What really makes this place is the friendness and quality of service you get. The staff can not do enough for you. A real pleasant experience. Entertainment went from the sublime to the rediculous, but that often happens in hotels anywhere. If you get fed up in the hotel there is plenty todo along the strip. The tailor Mac is really good and we got some real quality clothing from him . Lals jewelers a the top of the road is excellent the service and quality was excellent. we missing gong to Goa this Jan but will be going back in Dec

Resort : Candolim Beach
Description : Candolim Beach is the longest part of this northern stretch and is quieter than Calangute but still is getting busier every year. At this point the beach is as deep as a football pitch, and the beach bars and shacks are set back on the sand dunes. The shacks here have become more sophisticated, each trying to outdo the other with a more interesting design.
One of the most innovative has to be Stringfellos which is designed like watchtowers with seating on several levels and is a great place to watch the world go by whilst enjoying the late afternoon breeze.
Amidst the sunbeds and beach shacks the fishing community have their huts on the beach and still fish as they have always done, most locals eating fish curry and rice on a daily basis. The only difference from their Grandfather’s day is the fact that they have an outboard motor on the back of their ancient craft!

Review Title : great location Your Rating 5 Stars. Made By Marie Crane on 23/08/2008
Love Goa! previously had said there are too many places in the world to go to the same place twice, however was hooked after our first trip and booked for the following year as soon as we arrived home -every year and counting the weeks until we go back agian Dec 13th 08. Stayed in Baga other years but after spending some time in Candolim have booked to go there this year. Great shops, restaurants, pubs and Dreamers beach shack is exactly what its name says it is!

Review Title : Mamma Ceceilia's Beach Bar Your Rating 5 Stars. Made By debbie moore on 21/11/2009
You have just got to get yourself to this Beach Bar. John & Julie are the friendliest people I have ever met her and Deepak must be the best waiter ever, even if he does not speak much. Food is brilliant. Ask John to get the giant prawns. Lovely.
