The Beach Resort, formally Clarion The Beach Goa is situated on the white sandy shores of Benaulim in South Goa. A beautiful tree lined lane leads you to the lavish lobby. Designed in Portuguese the majestic row houses and enchanting villas are surrounded by lush landscaped gardens and water bodies.
This is the first hotel in Goa to tie up with Choice Hotels, one of the world's leading hotel chains.
Accommodation:
52 Standard rooms are roomy, feature plush interiors, and face the vast tropical gardens and freshwater pool area. 45 Superior rooms are larger rooms. 13 Junior suites feature a living area and two balconies overlooking the Arabian Sea. 13 Luxury rooms come complete with plunge pools. All rooms are air-conditioned with private balconies or verandas.

Just come back from The Beach Hotel and what a Hotel. The wife and me did an allocation on arrival and were put into the Beach Hotel. We were on our 10th wedding anniversary and got upgraded to a room with a plunge pool! Well it’s the biggest plunge pool i have ever seen! More like a indoor swimming pool! The bathroom was nearly as big as my house! Any way fab holiday would recommend to any one

Stayed at Clarion The Beach Goa in January 2007, and we stayed all inclusive.
The bedrooms are fairly large. The beds are comfortable and the bathrooms are clean.
Room Service was very Prompt and very quick to deliver orders and the housekeeping of our room was efficient.
The food is ok but not spectacular. The breakfast is good but the choice of food for lunch and dinner is lacking in choice, especially if you don't go all inclusive.
The Clarion has its own private beach, but the hotel is quite away from the town, so it's a good hotel for just lounging around and sun bathing/swimming.
The Clarion is a fairly new hotel with an official rating of 5 stars, however, I would rate it as a 4 star.
Overall it's a reasonable hotel and I would recommend it to others.
The best points about this hotel in my opinion are: large bedrooms, clean bathrooms, comfortable king size Beds and a nice private beach.
Worst Points: the hotel needs more choice in the restaurants and it's away from the town.

A very disappointing experience and not at all 5 star. The hotel needs a full rennovation programme. The staircase was filthy, a sofa outside the room was mouldy and dirty, the sheets and pillowcases needed to be changed as not clean, the sofa in the room was stained, the walls were mouldy, the pool was average with old and plastic seating and the staff were not helpful. We did not stay even one night, and moved to a proper 5 star hotel in Palolem. DO NOT STAY HERE, you will be disappointed and won't get your money back.
